Hi guys! I know, I went M.I.A. for a month. I recently went back to work since bars have now opened in my state (woohoo!). So I have been a tad busy with that as well as making content on my Instagram. My goal is to try to make a post on here at least once a week and I’m going to try my hardest to stick to my word this time. I’ve received some amazing PR packages from beauty brands over the past few weeks and I want to share some with you guys.
Loum
I was so stoked to receive these products from Loum and they were nice enough to gift me with two of their best sellers. The Golden Vitamin C Serum is now a product I’ve incorporated into my skincare routine every morning and night. It’s a powerful vitamin C serum for stressed, exhausted skin. Not only does my skin feel softer and smoother after I apply it, but my skin is visibly brighter and radiant. It did not make my skin feel sticky like other vitamin C serums I’ve used and it did not irritate my sensitive, acne-prone skin. It is a little pricey at $90, but you’re paying for quality at the end of the day and an effective product with real results.

The Renew & Brighten Polishing Minifacial is a multi-tasking mask that renews and brightens skin. The first time I used this, I didn’t apply it the right way. It doesn’t work like a typical mask where you apply the product and let it sit on your skin. You’re supposed to massage it into your skin completely, as if you’re using a moisturizer. Then once it’s fully rubbed in, you rinse off with with warm water and pat dry. OMG I could not believe just how soft my skin felt after. It literally felt like I had just gotten a facial. I’m counting down the days until I can use it again. It’s a little more affordable at $60 and still cheaper than an actual facial. This brand also only uses clean ingredients, is cruelty free, dermatologist tested, and vegan. They’re doing 25% off sitewide until May 31st, so if you wanted to give this company a try, now would be a great time!

Peach Slices
This is an affordable line from Peach and Lily. They gifted me 4 of their beautiful products which I got a lot of use out of. Their Citrus-Honey Aqua Glow moisturizer is infused with annatto seed, grapefruit, orange, and lemon peel oils. It’s a cross between a serum and a moisturizer because of how light and gel-like it is. It feels super hydrating and refreshing on the skin upon application. Unfortunately, since I have very dry skin I need a tad more hydration when I use this. I love how light it feels and how well it rubs into my skin, but because of how light it is, my skin seems to absorb it all relatively quick. It is super cheap at $11.99 and the bottle is quite big at just a little over 3 fl oz. This may be better suited for combo-oily skin or if my fellow dry skin friends need a little extra hydration in their routine.

The Gold Glow Priming Serum has multiple uses to it. It can be used before moisturizer, before makeup as a primer, or over makeup for that extra glow. I’ve only used it as a primer for my makeup so I can’t rate it on how well it looks over makeup or before moisturizer. It’s super lightweight and fast absorbing with 24K gold and antioxidants. It boosts a glow, while bananas and berries hydrate, soothe, and balance skin. It gives my skin a beautiful radiant glow as well as a smooth surface to apply my makeup. If you don’t enjoy wearing a lot of face makeup, this is the perfect serum to brighten up your complexion. It’s only $13.99 which is another solid, inexpensive product.

I’ve never used Acne Spot Dots, but I’m so glad I started. Peach Slices also gave me those along with Deep Blemish Microdarts. The Acne Spot Dots come in all different sizes and are speedy treatments for already present pimples. I apply these overnight and by the morning, everything inside of my pimples are sucked out and shrunken significantly in size. They’re non-drying which is also a huge plus for the ones suffering with dry skin. $4.49 and you get 30 patches in 3 sizes! The Micro Darts are more for under the skin, emerging blemishes. They’re saturated with salicylic acid, tea tree, willow bark, niacinamide, and cica, all in a hyaluronic acid base. I had a pimple that just wasn’t coming to the surface and this little sticker sucked it right up! Both of these products I highly recommend if you suffer from the occasional breakouts. 9 patches for $8.99 people!

I received a bunch more products from different brands, but I have yet to try them. I’m trying not to irritate my skin by switching my products around too much. I also received some makeup products from some fantastic brands as well so that will be my next post on here. I hope you all enjoyed my return post and think about giving these companies a chance. I added a link on all products and brands above for you all to check out! As always, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, I’d be happy to help! Hey, welcome back, Jaimie!
Well, boxes of free stuff… Pretty cool, huh? Naturally, the various companies thought the cost worthy the shout-out you’d give their products. That makes you an influencer, for sure. Most people don’t understand the burden we carry, being glamorous all the time. 😎
Serious question, offered in witlessness – how do you keep yourself from scarfing down half these things? I know how spellbinding are the ingredients, a temptation completed when unscrewing the lid activates the aromatics,
“Wait, these things aren’t snacks? Great…looks like I did it again.” At least that’d be the typical male reaction.
